Further Details<\/b>
\nNew Line has officially announced Return of the King: Special Extended Edition<\/b> which will be arriving in shops this December. This new four-disc set will include over fifty minutes of never-before-seen footage integrated into the original theatrical release, along with an additional two-discs of bonus material. As we had already reported, the set will be available to own from the 14th December this year, and should retail at around $39.99. Also arriving on the 14th will be a collector’s giftset which includes the aforementioned four-disc extended edition, along with a Sideshow\/Weta statue of Minas Tirith as well as a Howard Shore Creating the Lord of the Rings Symphony DVD.
